I guess you are suppose to write in this more than once a quarter....

Not much has changed... hence the lack of writing.

LaMont is now the Second Counselor in the Bishopric of our church. I am now the Relief Society Second Counselor and the Ward Camp Director for girls camp this year! I am very excited about going to camp. I don't like camping.... but I love girls camp so it should be great.

My sisters and I went hiking recently and ran into three bears.

Speaking of hiking... LaMont and I spent a weekend at James River State Park (a wonderful wonderful place to get away for the weekend). We did a lot of hiking, grilling and relaxing. If I can figure out how to hook the camera up to the computer I will post pictures. Unfortunately I have no pictures of the bears from the trip with my sisters, just pictures of me attempting to climb a tree (with no success).

New to blogging

Hello! After Erin created a blog I thought..."what a great idea, I want to try that"... so here goes!

LaMont and I are living in Lynchburg, VA. I LOVE it here. We live in the historic district near the Blue Ridge Parkway. We can walk to work which is especially nice now that gas prices are so high. LaMont is working as a physical therapist for Virginia Baptist Hospital and I am a clinical assistant at Dermatology Consultants. We both love our jobs. LaMont is working on his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. He will be finished next summer. I can't wait.

Since moving to VA we have started taking Spin and Pilates classes. I wish I had discovered these years ago. We have also been doing a little bit of hiking... not as much as we would like. Hopefully we will even be able to go camping this fall. LaMont is a boy scout leader and I am a den leader in cub scouts. We just love our scouts and really enjoy it.

Well I think that is a good overview for now.
